James Seo is a mechanical engineer who played a pivotal role in the growth of South Korea's high-tech industry during the 1980s. At a time when the country's semiconductor sector was still in its infancy, he was instrumental in laying the groundwork for its development. His expertise in factory design, construction, and oversight helped establish the infrastructure necessary for semiconductor production—an achievement that significantly contributed to the industry's rise.

In 1996, Mr. Seo moved to the United States as part of a Korean semiconductor company's Austin-based plant construction project. Since then, he has been involved in major semiconductor facility projects, including those in Eugene, Oregon and in Scotland and Wales in the United Kingdom. His contributions ranged from on-site construction management to consulting for factory development.

Eventually settling in the U.S., Mr. Seo has continued to engage in related business activities while dedicating his time to community service through various organizations. He finds deep fulfillment in giving back and believes that serving others is one of life’s greatest blessings.

Drawing from years of experience and insight gained through service, he founded the KOAM Future Foundation, a nonprofit organization aimed at supporting and inspiring the next generation. Through this foundation, he hopes to empower youth to shape their own futures with confidence and purpose.
